Call for Book Chapters

More and more business education leaders are changing curriculum so that business will responsibly address social and environmental challenges. Other educators want to change what they teach but seek ideas for how to connect current pedagogy and practices to necessary and transformative action. Global Movement Initiative is seeking your stories of how who have helped students envision and apply sustainable and responsible business practices.

Global Movement Stories from Pioneers
Published by Routledge

“Transforming Business Education for a Sustainable Future – Stories from Pioneers” will be published by Routledge in December.

Global Movement Initiative editors compiled the stories of 26 pioneers around the globe who are transforming business education for a regenerative world. Routledge included our book in their prestigious “Principles for Responsible Management Education Series.”

GMI Supports Sustainability for the 21st Century Course at Woxsen University

In August, Woxsen University in Hyderabad India www.woxsen.edu.in introduced a new course for business students that addressed key topics for sustainable business. Professor James Stoner and Global Movement team members helped Woxsen shape and deliver this transformative course. The 10-session interdisciplinary course, "Sustainability for the 21st Century," explores the principles, practices, and implications of sustainability across various domains. Speakers for each session featured faculty experts from around the globe to discuss topics such as social innovation ecosystems, green marketing, green supply chains, sustainable business models, impact investing and more. The course sessions were presented through synchronous and asynchronous platforms to more than 800 students.
